Tetra Pak is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to serve as the Principal Legal Advisor for the US & Canada Market Company, based in Denton, Texas. This role involves advising on commercial practices, innovation, sustainability, IPR, managing litigation, and acting as corporate secretary.

Ansvarsområden

  • Draft, negotiate, and advise on engineering, construction, manufacturing, product supply, procurement, marketing, and equipment lease/sale agreements.
  • Identify and analyze legal issues and risks, recommending solutions for project advancement and compliance.
  • Manage litigation matters and oversee outside counsel.
  • Participate in innovative projects, providing legal advice.
  • Support labor and employment activities for unionized facilities.
  • Act as corporate secretary for US Tetra Pak entities, managing board actions and documents.

Krav

  • Ten or more years of relevant legal experience, preferably in manufacturing or construction.
  • Legal experience in a corporate environment, Food and Beverage, or Consumer-Packaged Goods industry is a plus.
  • Juris Doctorate Degree or L.L.M. from an accredited U.S. law school.
  • License to practice law and current good standing with at least one state bar; ability to gain entrance to the Texas bar within 1 year strongly preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Commercial litigation experience is preferred.
  • Antitrust and bankruptcy knowledge is a plus.
