Nordea is seeking an experienced Senior IT Analyst for its DRT Data Engineering team. This role involves hands-on data and requirement analysis, focusing on Payments Data consolidation, sourcing, storage, and distribution. The position requires expertise in SQL, AI technologies like Copilot and LLMs, and experience within the payment domain. The role is based in Finland or Poland.

Ansvarsområden

  • Elicit requirements (functional and non-functional) by collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Translate requirements into implementation specifications and interact with product owners.
  • Communicate effectively to align stakeholders on shared objectives.
  • Perform data mapping, data modeling, solution design, and work with information architects.
  • Contribute to solution design, maintainability, and architecture of applications.
  • Design near real-time and traditional analytics data pipelines.
  • Perform quantitative data analysis to understand issues and recommend solutions.
  • Collaborate with developers and test engineers.
  • Engage with many different stakeholders and build relationships.
  • Take responsibility for requirements documentation and quality improvement.
  • Access complex datasets and perform statistical analysis.
  • Promote analytical excellence and best practices across teams.

Krav

  • 5 years of experience in designing data intensive solutions, data architectures, and integration patterns.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience in the payment domain (ISO20022 standard, SEPA, and Swift messages).
  • Understanding of requirement elicitation techniques and analysis.
  • Expertise in translating business requirements into functional and non-functional specifications.
  • Experience with AI (Copilot, LLM, and agentic solutions).
  • Excellent skills in SQL (Snowflake, MSSQL, or similar RDBMS).
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Experience with international collaboration with different stakeholder groups and cultures.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Understanding of the importance of requirement elicitation techniques and analysis.
  • Experience with AI and the ability to drive new ways of working.
  • Experience with one or more cloud platforms (Snowflake/Azure/Google).
  • Understanding of practices like domain-driven design, event-sourcing architecture patterns, microservices architecture, and clean code.
  • Understanding of CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, REST, Maven, and JUnit.
  • Experience building distributed, highly available, and high throughput applications.
  • Experience with scalable data products and the concept of removing barriers for users.
  • Experience with participating in building agentic solutions.
