Senior IS Application Specialist – Engineering Base

We are looking for a Senior IS Application Specialist to join WeQuel for an advanced engineering assignment in Ludvika.

This is a hands-on senior consulting role where you will strengthen and support a complex digital engineering environment, with focus on Aucotec Engineering Base (EB) development, customization, and integration.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop scripts, plugins, and automation in Engineering Base (.NET/C#)

• Customize data models, templates, and workflows

• Integrate EB with ERP/PLM and other engineering systems

• Ensure data quality and system performance

• Support users and drive continuous improvements

• Advise on IS application solutions across BUILD & RUN domains

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Engineering, IT or related field
  (or 15+ years of relevant experience)

• 3–5+ years within IS/application development

• Strong hands-on experience with Aucotec Engineering Base

• Proficiency in C#, .NET, VBA, SQL

• Understanding of electrical design workflows

• Fluent English

Meritorious

Experience from energy systems, industrial automation, IEC standards (81346/61850), or EB integrations with SAP, Teamcenter, COMOS, or AVEVA.
