I korthet

Alstom is looking for a Senior Interlocking System Designer in Katowice, PL to design standardized IXL architectures and configurations. The role involves identifying and analyzing customer requirements, preparing technical documentation, and implementing and testing solutions using GitLab and Linux environments.

Ansvarsområden

  • Identify and analyze customer and product requirements to define and design standardized IXL architectures (functional, physical, and operational).
  • Design and configure IXL equipment for tenders, prototyping, series production, and project deployment.
  • Prepare Designs Descriptions, conceptions of implemented solutions, and other necessary documents.
  • Prepare User Case Descriptions, Operational Scenarios, and SLATE tests specifications.
  • Implement sternol code using GitLab for version control.
  • Perform testing for safety (Formal Tests) and functionality (SLATE tests, System tests) of implemented solutions.

Krav

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software development and/or testing projects.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Railway Traffic Control, Automation Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields.
  • Advanced knowledge of GitLab and Linux environments.
  • Fluent Polish is a must.
  • English level min. B2.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Analytical mindset with strong technical problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to create, understand, and maintain technical documentation, including test scenarios, test cases, and technical specifications.

  • Practical experience in railway signalling and traffic control systems is an advantage.
