Amazon seeks a Senior Finance Analyst for its marketplace finance team in Bengaluru, Karnataka. This role is crucial for driving business results and P&L management for a business vertical, involving financial metrics, reporting, forecasting, and data analysis for decision support.

Ansvarsområden

  • Performing financial reporting, ad-hoc business analyses, and financial modeling.
  • Presenting recommendations to business leadership on strategic decisions and planned future initiatives.
  • Provide controllership to the business and build processes that augment transparency and improve controls.
  • Facilitate financial reviews with the business group and work with business leaders to ensure effective finance and cost management.
  • Work closely with the business team to drive critical business goals and contribute to Free cash flows.
  • Manage financial planning and analysis, forecasting product lines using key input levers.
  • Facilitate weekly/monthly/quarterly reviews with data analysis and follow through with category leaders on actionable items.
  • Work with the accounting team to drive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial-book close process for the category.
  • Track P&L cost line items, benchmark the same internally and externally to spotlight opportunity areas.

Krav

  • 3+ years of tax, finance, or a related analytical field experience.
  • 4+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience.
  • 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience.
  • 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience.
  • 4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience.
  • Chartered Accountant or MBA (Finance).

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience.
  • MBA, or CPA.
  • Knowledge of Tableau.
  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).
  • Business Finance, Financial Planning and Analysis, Budgeting, Forecasting and Variance Analysis, P&L.
