Amazon is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst for its FOAA team in Karnataka, India, to support VAT Accounting. The role involves month-end activities, financial analysis, process improvements, GRC compliance, and audit interactions.
Ansvarsområden
- Review/perform month-end activities including closing sub ledgers, general ledger account reconciliations, reporting, and balance sheet account analysis.
- Review/perform month-end Flux analysis for P&L and Balance Sheet accounts and analyze reasons for changes.
- Apply accounting knowledge to recognize and resolve complex issues, consulting with leadership as needed.
- Ensure financial policies, procedures, and internal controls are in place, documented, and work on process improvements.
- Review/prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations with VAT Tax returns/sub-ledger reports and take necessary action on issues.
- Interact closely with auditors on audit-related queries.
- Responsible for GRC compliance, internal control, and aligning improvements/changes with stakeholders.
- Lead and support new business/system launches, including UAT of accounting entries and financial reporting.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and partner with Tech Partners for automation/system solutions.
Krav
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent)

- Chartered Accountant with 5+ years of experience in accounting.
