The Senior Finance Manager will lead finance reviews and accounting readiness for strategic initiatives at Microsoft, partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure financial compliance and operational readiness. This role requires technical accounting expertise, business partnership, and program leadership for complex business changes impacting the order-to-cash environment.

Ansvarsområden

Lead finance review and accounting readiness activities for strategic business and commerce initiatives.
Partner with Engineering and Product teams to ensure accounting and financial requirements are incorporated into solutions.
Evaluate new business models, commercial constructs, licensing changes, and platform capabilities for accounting and reporting implications.
Drive launch governance processes from initial intake through implementation and post-launch review.
Assess accounting impacts of complex business scenarios and develop accounting positions.
Ensure launch solutions maintain compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and financial reporting obligations.
Act as Finance lead for cross-functional initiatives.
Influence senior stakeholders through data-driven recommendations.
Provide strategic guidance regarding business process design and operational scalability.
Lead multiple concurrent programmes with competing priorities.
Drive accountability across stakeholders to ensure key milestones are achieved.
Develop, maintain, and communicate launch readiness status, risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, automation, governance, and operational effectiveness.
Mentor and coach finance professionals.
Contribute to knowledge sharing and development of best practices.

Krav

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting/Finance, or related field AND 4+ years accounting or finance experience, OR Master's Degree in Business, Accounting/Finance, or related field AND 3+ years accounting or finance experience, OR equivalent experience.
Professional accounting qualification preferred (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, CA or equivalent).
Experience working in a matrixed global organisation with diverse stakeholders.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting concepts.
Experience evaluating business process and system design impacts on accounting outcomes.
Knowledge of financial controls, governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks.
Ability to interpret complex business requirements and translate them into finance and accounting solutions.
Proven ability to lead through influence and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
Strong programme and project management capabilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including executive-level presentations and business case development.
Ability to simplify complex technical and accounting concepts for diverse audiences.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Significant experience in Finance, Corporate Accounting, Revenue Accounting, Audit, Financial Controls, Financial Transformation, or related disciplines.
Experience supporting enterprise-scale business transformation, system implementation, or product launch initiatives.
