Emerson seeks a Senior Field Service Technician in Houston, TX, for hybrid work, supporting customers in the Gulf Coast with hands-on service for Flow and Quality Measurement systems. Responsibilities include performing field services, assisting with testing, consulting on technical solutions, and managing customer relationships.

Ansvarsområden

  • Perform demand and contract field services, including emergency and scheduled maintenance.
  • Assist with Factory Checkout (FCO), customer-witnessed Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
  • Consult with factory and service centers to deliver technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Business Development Managers to design comprehensive solutions.
  • Support technical training and post-sale service planning with customers.
  • Develop and refine best practice procedures for startup and troubleshooting.
  • Manage overhead, travel, and expenses in a fiscally responsible manner.
  • Function as the strategic communication point between customers and the business for warranty issues.
  • Stay technically proficient on new products and enhancements through self-study and factory training.

Krav

  • HS Diploma + 3 years relevant experience OR AAS Technical Degree + 0 years of experience.
  • Five 5-10 years of related experience.
  • Travel required up to 75% domestically.
  • International travel might be required, on occasion.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Ten (10) years of experience related with Analytical Process Gas Systems and/or Analytical Gas Products.
  • Experience with Analytical Process Gas and Liquid applications, such as Emissions Monitoring (CEMs), DeNOx, Gas Purity, and Combustion Control.
  • Experience with Sampling Handling Systems and Data Acquisition.
  • Understanding of Modbus protocol and network communications.
