The Senior Engineer will administer, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops (XenDesktop) environments, focusing on Machine Creation Services (MCS). This role requires L1/L2 operational support, image management, and ensuring service availability in a 24x7 environment.
Ansvarsområden
- Provide L1/L2 operational support for Citrix XenDesktop environments.
- Administer and support Machine Creation Services (MCS) catalogs and desktop delivery infrastructure.
- Perform image updates, machine catalog maintenance, and desktop provisioning activities.
- Troubleshoot desktop launch issues, profile issues, logon delays, and application access problems.
- Monitor Citrix infrastructure health and address performance-related alerts.
- Support Citrix Delivery Controllers, StoreFront, Citrix Workspace, and Citrix Director.
- Execute patching, maintenance, reboot schedules, and standard operational changes.
- Participate in Incident, Problem, and Change Management activities.
- Coordinate with application, server, network, and security teams for issue resolution.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles.
- Ensure compliance with operational standards and support processes.

- Hands-on experience with Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops (XenDesktop)
- Hands-on experience with Machine Creation Services (MCS)
- Hands-on experience with Citrix Studio
- Hands-on experience with Citrix Director
- Hands-on experience with StoreFront
- Hands-on experience with Citrix Workspace App
- Working knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022
- Working knowledge of Active Directory
- Working knowledge of Group Policies (GPO)
- Working knowledge of DNS & DHCP
- Working knowledge of Profile Management
- Experience in Machine Catalog management
- Experience in Delivery Group administration
- Experience in MCS image management and updates
- Experience in Virtual Desktop provisioning
- Experience in User access troubleshooting
- Good understanding of Citrix infrastructure monitoring
- Good understanding of Performance troubleshooting
- Good understanding of Incident and Change Management
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Effective communication and stakeholder management
- Customer-focused approach
- Ability to work in a 24x7 support environment

Önskade kvalifikationer
- Exposure to Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS)
- Exposure to Citrix Cloud
- Exposure to VMware vSphere
- Exposure to Hyper-V
- Exposure to Azure Virtual Desktop concepts
- Basic PowerShell scripting knowledge
- Experience with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Citrix Certified Associate – Virtualization (CCA-V)
- Citrix Certified Professional – Virtualization (CCP-V) (Preferred)
