Qualcomm is looking for a Senior Engineer to develop and maintain Linux Audio device drivers on multicore SOC architectures. The role requires strong C/C++ programming skills, knowledge of operating systems, and experience with embedded debugging. Familiarity with ADSP, IPC, and audio domain knowledge on Android or Embedded Linux is preferred.

Ansvarsområden

  • Design, implement, validate, and maintain end-to-end Audio features on a multicore SOC architecture.
  • Design, implement, validate, and maintain ALSA compliant software drivers in C and/or C++.
  • Work with multiple peer teams in day-to-day tasks.

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • 3+ years Software Engineering or related work experience.
  • Proficiency in Programming Languages C, C++ and Data structures.
  • Knowledge of computer architecture, operating systems, particularly with respect to Linux/Android platforms.
  • Software debugging skills in embedded operating systems, preferably on Linux platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  • PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Understanding of ADSP, IPC and peripheral drivers is preferred advantage.
  • Good to have working experience in Linux Audio device drivers' area.
  • Good to have Audio Domain Knowledge with Android or Embedded Linux.
