As a Senior Engineer Data - Network LAN/WAN in Lucknow, India, you will be the first point of contact for technical support, monitoring network performance, and troubleshooting issues. This entry-level role requires 0-2 years of experience and ensures network uptime by handling tickets and escalating complex problems.

Ansvarsområden

  • Monitor network health, links, and devices (routers, switches, firewalls) 24/7 for high availability.
  • Respond to, document, and resolve technical support tickets within SLA times.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to LAN/WAN, internet connectivity, VPN, and IP addressing.
  • Assist with basic configuration, provisioning, and troubleshooting of network hardware.
  • Own issues, troubleshoot via remote tools, and escalate to higher-level engineers if necessary.
  • Create and maintain network diagrams, operating procedures (SOPs/MOPs), and asset tracking.

Krav

  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
  • Familiarity with Cisco, Aruba, or Juniper network vendor technologies.
  • Knowledge of Access Switches, Wireless Access Points, VLAN basics, MAC address, and PoE concepts.
  • Proficiency with SNMP, basic CLI, ticketing systems, Zabbix, and SolarWinds.
  • Awareness of ITIL processes.
  • 0-2 years of experience in a NOC or technical support environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience/certifications (e.g., CCNA).
  • Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark, Nagios, Zabbix).
  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
  • Experience with remote management tools (e.g., VPN, SSH clients).
