Qualcomm's Location Technology team seeks a Senior Engineer to validate and commercialize next-generation positioning solutions for diverse platforms. The role involves system-level validation, developing test strategies, analyzing performance, debugging issues, and improving engineering efficiency through automation and AI-assisted workflows.
Ansvarsområden
- Develop and execute system-level test plans for GNSS and Advanced Positioning features.
- Analyze logs, traces, and field data to identify root causes and drive issue resolution.
- Evaluate multi-sensor location solutions combining GNSS, cellular, Wi-Fi, and inertial sensors.
- Develop automation tools, data-analysis pipelines, and scalable validation frameworks to improve test coverage and engineering efficiency.
- Leverage AI-assisted workflows for test execution, log post-processing, KPI review, issue triage, and report generation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support feature development, qualification, commercialization readiness, and customer deployments.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, test quality, and time-to-market.
Krav
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.
- Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.
- PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience with GNSS, Assisted GNSS, Advanced Positioning, or wireless systems.
- Experience with Python, automation frameworks, data analytics, AI/ML tools, or agentic workflows.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of RTK, sensor fusion, LTE/5G, and Wi-Fi positioning.
- Experience with Android-based systems and wireless test environments.
