Ansvarsområden

  • Lead the end-to-end electromagnetic and thermal design and validation of liquid-cooled PMSMs from concept to production.
  • Utilize ANSYS Maxwell and Motor-CAD for multi-electric & thermal simulation and design optimization.
  • Drive design optimization to achieve targets for performance, cost, and reliability.
  • Collaborate closely with the systems and controls team on motor-controller matching and integration.

Krav

  • Master degree or above in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years in PMSM design, preferably for off-road, automotive, or railway applications.
  • Proficient in ANSYS Maxwell and Motor-CAD for electromagnetic and thermal simulation.
  • Solid understanding of motor manufacturing processes and material characteristics.
  • Knowledge of motor-controller matching and system integration requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Capable of guiding junior engineers and collaborating across teams.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Familiarity with ABB drive products would be an asset.
  • Familiarity with control algorithms or embedded software is a plus.
