Tetra Pak seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer for its Hamilton, NZ office to lead complex electrical projects end-to-end, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior engineers. The role involves customer engagement within the food and dairy industry and requires significant travel.

Ansvarsområden

  • Develop electrical solutions based on Tetra Pak or customer standards.
  • Lead project pricing, cost estimation, and scope definition.
  • Manage electrical project delivery from concept to handover.
  • Coordinate and manage electrical project delivery with subcontractors.
  • Procure equipment and engage subcontractors.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineers.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering standards.
  • Travel to support project pricing and delivery.

Krav

  • Proven experience delivering electrical design and build projects.
  • Demonstrated capability in pricing projects and managing technical risk.
  • Strong understanding of AS/NZS Wiring Regulations and electrical standards.
  • Experience commissioning electrical systems in a production or industrial environment.
  • Experience delivering large or complex capital projects.
  • Ability to provide technical guidance and mentoring.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Project management skills and self-drive.
  • A university degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • New Zealand or Australian residency with full working rights.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Food and beverage industry exposure is preferred.
  • Understanding of PLC/HMI hardware selection and integration.
  • Exposure to Hazardous Area Design and Functional Safety Design.
