I korthet

This role involves the design and development of semiconductor equipment, focusing on mechanical modules, sheet-metal structures, and complex subsystems. The engineer will utilize expertise in UG NX, GD&T, FEA, and other core mechanical design principles to create high-quality solutions, validate designs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Ansvarsområden

  • Create detailed 3D models and assemblies using UG NX.
  • Design enclosures, brackets, and frames with sheet-metal design rules.
  • Understand vacuum design, plasma interaction, and thermal loads.
  • Select materials based on mechanical, thermal, and chemical criteria.
  • Perform structural and thermal analysis using FEA tools.
  • Collaborate with electrical, systems, manufacturing, and reliability teams.
  • Support prototype builds and perform functional testing.
  • Mentor junior designers and share knowledge.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align design with project goals.
  • Work with quality assurance teams to maintain high quality.

Krav

  • Expert level UG NX proficiency.
  • Proficiency in GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
  • Experience in Sheet Metal Design and Drafting.
  • Experience with Tolerance Stack-up (Worst Case & Statistical).
  • Knowledge of Semiconductor Fabrication Processes.
  • Experience in Material Selection for Vacuum & Cleanroom Applications.
  • Proficiency in Structural & Thermal FEA (ANSYS/Abaqus).
  • Knowledge of SOM Documentation.
  • Application of DFM/DFA principles.
  • Experience with PLM Tools (Teamcenter/Windchill).

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • 6-12 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design engineering.
  • Preference for experience in semiconductor equipment, high-tech capital machinery, robotics, or precision systems.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to lead technical discussions and decisions.
  • Analytical problem-solving and root-cause analysis capability.
  • Mentorship experience with junior engineers.
