  • Develop prototypes and proof-of-concept implementations using CAD software to validate design decisions and assess performance against customer needs.
  • Mentor junior designers and provide guidance on harness design best practices through training sessions and comprehensive documentation.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to align harness design with overall project goals, ensuring compatibility with electrical cabling and power distribution systems.
  • Engage with Quality Assurance teams to establish and uphold high-quality standards in harness design deliverables, ensuring compliance with industry specifications.

Krav

  • Strong understanding of Harness Design Principles and Practices.
  • Proficiency in CAD Software for creating Schematics and 3D Routing Designs.
  • Familiarity with Electrical Cabling and Power Distribution Systems.
  • Basic knowledge of Electro-Mechanical Packaging Considerations.
  • Experience in developing Prototypes and Proof-of-Concept Models.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Certified Harness Designer (CHD) is optional but valuable.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) Certification in Electrical Engineering is optional but valuable.
