Ansvarsområden

  • Develop cutting-edge products and technologies meeting quality, safety, and performance standards.
  • Drive innovation through research, design, and development activities.
  • Ensure products and processes are efficient and environmentally sustainable.
  • Deliver and participate in new product development projects from an engineering perspective.
  • Improve Time to Market and drive technical competence of GECIA teams.
  • Develop expertise and direct efforts toward product innovation and technology platforms.
  • Ensure on-time delivery and a first-time-right approach.
  • Plan project execution within estimated timelines and quality standards.
  • Understand project requirements and work content.
  • Ensure GECIA's contribution toward improving Time to Market.
  • Communicate progress and deliverable updates to stakeholders.
  • Raise red flags and highlight concerns in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate GECIA's contribution to NPD projects.
  • Monitor deliverables in adherence to SOPs and resolve technical issues.
  • Ensure proper coordination with other competencies (CAE, Electrical Design, Technical Documentation).
  • Ensure designs are reviewed by the designated design reviewer before release.
  • Nurture innovative ideas and drive improvements in product performance, cost, life, reliability, and sustainability.
  • Promote the use of advanced manufacturing techniques while designing new products.
  • Encourage the sharing of best practices across all NPD teams.
  • Create and promote the use of reusable components, product platforms, sub-assemblies, and modular designs.
  • Suggest CAD automation and customization projects.

Krav

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 9-12 years of experience.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and leadership skills to manage and develop a growing team of 12 or more engineers.
  • Experience in handling operational issues.
  • Hands-on experience in Oil-Free Air Compressor design is essential.
  • Expertise in the Product Development Process (Concept-to-Product).
  • Good knowledge of Oil-Free Air Compressor products (Screw, Tooth, Centrifugal Compressors).
  • Deep understanding of modularity principles.
  • Good knowledge of national and international standards and codes.
  • Good knowledge of various CAD software tools.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including sheet metal fabrication and Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
  • Knowledge of Heat Exchangers, Pressure Vessels, Piping and Tubing Design, Flange Selection.
  • Basic understanding of P&ID, Flow Transmitters, Valves, Pressure Gauges, and Temperature Gauges.
  • Knowledge of APQP, DFMEA, and Design Review Processes is essential.
  • Good knowledge of PLM and PDM tools such as BPCS, Enovia, and SAP.
