Nordea Finance is seeking two Senior Data Warehouse Engineers to join their Data and Application Management team in Helsinki. The role involves designing and optimizing the future data platform, building data models and pipelines, and utilizing AI to enhance efficiency and reliability. This hybrid position requires at least 5 years of experience and strong technical expertise in data engineering and warehousing.

Ansvarsområden

Design and optimize Nordea Finance's future data platform.
Understand business domain to build effective data flows and models.
Collaborate closely with colleagues in and outside the team.
Take ownership of delivery from requirements to production.
Design and build data models and data pipelines.
Set high standards for robustness, stability, and maintainability.
Adopt AI to increase efficiency, maintainability, and reliability.

Krav

At least 5 years of work experience.
Strong technical expertise and genuine interest in solving business problems.
Ownership of the full lifecycle: design, implementation, and testing.
Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts.
Interest in developing deep domain knowledge.
Focus on long-term maintainability.
Use AI as a tool to improve productivity, quality, and speed.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or relevant technical field.
Strong experience in data engineering and data warehousing, building large-scale data solutions.
Strong SQL and Python skills.
Experience with modern data platforms (Snowflake, dbt, Airflow).
Experience with legacy platform Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Microsoft Power BI and/or Microsoft Fabric.
Proficient in data modelling.
Experience with enterprise API integration.
Solid engineering practices (git, CI/CD, automated testing).
Genuine curiosity about AI and new technologies.
