Atlas Copco Group is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to develop AI/GenAI solutions, design and deploy AI models, and implement MLOps practices. The role involves translating business needs into AI solutions, working with advanced AI/ML techniques, and analyzing multimodal data. Based in Pune, India, this hybrid role requires a minimum of 6 years of experience and a relevant engineering graduate/post-graduate degree.
Ansvarsområden
- Translate business requirements into AI solutions, conduct feasibility studies, and align ML/DL models with stakeholder needs.
- Design and build machine learning and deep learning models for predictive analytics, automation, and decision support.
- Apply supervised, unsupervised, and prescriptive analytics techniques to optimize models and recommend actions.
- Develop and fine-tune GenAI applications (LLMs, diffusion models, multimodal systems) for industrial applications.
- Deploy AI/ML models on Azure, leveraging cloud services for scalability, monitoring, and integration.
- Establish CI/CD pipelines, automate model training, testing, and deployment, and monitor production performance (MLOps & DevOps).
- Evaluate models using metrics, optimize hyperparameters, and ensure robustness, fairness, and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior data scientists.
Krav
- Engineering Graduate/Post Graduation (ME/MTech./MS/MBA) with a minimum of 6 years of experience.
- Proven experience in developing and delivering AI projects using advanced AI/ML techniques for mechanical engineering solutions (e.g., predictive maintenance, process optimization).
- Experience developing GenAI applications in industrial contexts (e.g., LLM-based copilots, automated report generation, multimodal diagnostics).
- Skilled in writing efficient, reusable Python code leveraging libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and Hugging Face.
- Hands-on experience developing advanced ML models for industrial applications, focusing on computer vision techniques (object detection, defect recognition, visual anomaly detection).
- Proficiency in Data Engineering & Preprocessing: collecting, cleaning, transforming large datasets, and feature engineering.
- Ability to perform Multimodal Data Analysis, including structured and unstructured data (images, videos, text).
- Proficiency with MLOps tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with surrogate model fundamentals, Edge computing applied to mechanical systems, and physics-informed machine learning.
- Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools (MATLAB, Simulink, ANSYS) and their integration with AI workflows.
- Fundamental understanding of mechanical principles (machine design, vibrations, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, quality assessment, material science).
- Certification from leading providers (Microsoft, Google, IBM, AWS), e.g., Azure AI Fundamentals, Azure Solutions Architect.
- Understanding of data and model security best practices in cloud environments.
- Experience in creating whitepapers/blogs, registering IP rights/patents.
