I korthet

As a Senior Data Engineer for Google Cloud's Supply Chain team, you will build scalable data pipelines, perform complex SQL transformations, and create visualizations to drive data-backed recommendations. You will also be responsible for data governance and mentoring junior engineers.

Ansvarsområden

  • Build scalable data pipelines with robust quality monitoring.
  • Write complex SQL for extraction and transformation to power reporting and analysis.
  • Translate stakeholder data needs into actionable technical solutions.
  • Create and maintain dashboards for communicating insights.
  • Automate data processes and build efficient tools using Python and SQL.
  • Own the Data Governance charter for compliance.
  • Mentor junior engineers through technical guidance and code reviews.

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in data analysis, database querying (e.g., SQL), and BigQuery.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • 12 years of experience leading data engineering and governance, defining policies, ensuring compliance, and managing metadata systems.
  • Proficient in Python, complex system design, and deploying solutions across GCP, data warehouses, and quality tools.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale technical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and driving collaborative problem-solving.
  • Expertise in large-scale data analysis, statistics, and machine learning model development.
  • Data Center or Supply Chain domain knowledge.
  • Exceptional ability to clearly translate and explain complex technical concepts to various audiences.
