I korthet

We are seeking a Senior Data & AI Platform Engineer to join Saab Surveillance in Solna, Sweden. This role involves building and enhancing secure, scalable cloud-native Data & AI platforms using Kubernetes and AI infrastructure. You will work across the technology lifecycle, contributing expertise in AI tools and sustainable technical solutions.

Ansvarsområden

  • Design, develop, and enhance cloud-native Data & AI platforms.
  • Develop platform functionality and work with Kubernetes and Kubernetes Operators.
  • Implement, deploy, and troubleshoot solutions in complex technical environments.
  • Work with automation, GitOps, CI/CD, and observability.
  • Contribute technical expertise, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement of team practices.
  • Explore how emerging AI technologies and tools can be utilized and integrated into our platforms.

Krav

  • Solid experience in software engineering and platform development.
  • Experience in Golang or other systems-level programming languages.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Kubernetes Operators, and containerized environments.
  • Experience with cloud-native platforms, DevOps, GitOps, and CI/CD practices.
  • Experience with Linux and automation using tools such as Python or Shell scripting.
  • Experience in data-intensive environments and the deployment and management of AI models.
  • University degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to pass security vetting.
  • Curious, solution-oriented, and capable of understanding complex technical challenges.
  • Enjoy sharing knowledge and collaborating, comfortable driving initiatives independently.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience in AI-assisted software development or agent-based AI is a merit.
  • Experience with Large Language Model (LLM) technologies, including prompting and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) is a merit.
  • Experience in test automation is a merit.
  • Experience in security testing is a merit.
