Ericsson is seeking a Senior Core Engineer to join their Network Operations team in Hyderabad. This role involves providing technical support, troubleshooting network issues, and ensuring the stability and performance of Core Network elements. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and hands-on experience in Core Network Operations and Support.

Ansvarsområden

  • Provide operational support for CS/PS Core Network nodes.
  • Perform troubleshooting and fault resolution for Core Network elements.
  • Monitor network health and proactively identify performance issues.
  • Handle incidents and fault management activities.
  • Analyze operational reports and implement action plans.
  • Conduct routine audits and health checks of Core Network nodes.
  • Manage and coordinate Change Requests (CRs).
  • Drive customer complaint resolution.
  • Ensure execution of backup and restoration processes.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Support MSC site operations, facility management, and information management.
  • Supervise third-party vendors.
  • Follow customer and central team operational guidelines.
  • Participate in a 24x7 operational support environment.

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience in Core Network Operations and Support.
  • Strong knowledge of CS Core Network technologies and architecture.
  • Experience working with network elements such as MGW, MSS, GMSC, GMGW, STP, and DRA.
  • Understanding of Packet Core and Telecom Network Operations.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of IP networking and protocols.
  • Experience in fault management, performance analysis, and customer support.
  • Ability to perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
  • Familiarity with change management, incident management, and operational processes.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Flexibility to work in a 24x7 support model.
  • A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service quality.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Previous experience as Senior Support Engineer, Senior Network Engineer, Senior Integration Engineer, Senior Staff Engineer, or Senior Software Engineer is noted.
