As a Senior Cloud Solution Architect at Microsoft, you will be the voice of the customer, translating their needs into industry solutions and ensuring a seamless customer experience. You will leverage your expertise in Microsoft architectures, security, and AI to identify opportunities, mitigate blockers, and lead virtual teams. This role requires a proactive approach to drive customer success and contribute to Microsoft's mission.

Ansvarsområden

  • Act as the voice of the customer/partner, translating problems into industry solutions.
  • Drive efficient delivery and ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Proactively identify, escalate, and mitigate blockers.
  • Deliver solutions in line with company methodologies and best practices.
  • Identify new opportunities for Consumption, Usage & Unified expansion.
  • Leverage market insights and demand signals.
  • Contribute to leading virtual teams using knowledge of Microsoft architectures.
  • Identify gaps that enable solutions to scale across customers.
  • Operate according to operational excellence and proven practice standards.
  • Collaborate across Microsoft and customer/partner teams.
  • Manage business and technical risks.
  • Prepare customers for operational readiness and achievement of business goals.
  • Guide customers towards well-architected, optimized solutions.
  • Provide feedback to Unified Delivery Team on Value-Based Deliverables (VBDs).
  • Advocate for alternative architectures/solutions/approaches.
  • Identify and evaluate industry trends and gather customer/partner insights.
  • Capture opportunities in appropriate systems and processes.
  • Support partners in developing repeatable offerings, practices, products, and solutions.
  • Advise partners throughout initial strategic customer implementations.
  • Assist leadership in identifying areas for up-skilling and accreditations.
  • Act as a mentor, leading readiness and upskilling activities.
  • Share ideas, insights, and strategic, technical input with technical teams.
  • Contribute to intellectual property (IP) development and identify patterns for scalable models.
  • Participate in external community events to elevate the Microsoft brand.
  • Identify gaps and drive changes/improvements to products, IP, technologies, and processes.
  • Contribute to the development and modification of Microsoft's structured frameworks and methodologies.

Krav

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
  • Active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance is required.
  • Must pass Microsoft Cloud background check.
  • Verification of U.S. citizenship is required.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 8+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 6+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years experience working in a customer-facing role (internal and/or external).
  • 4+ years experience working on technical projects.
  • Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications).
