Spotify is looking for a Senior C++/iOS Engineer to join the User Platform team, focusing on Session Management and Delegated Authorization. Ansvarsområden

  • Collaborate with an engineering squad responsible for delegated authorization and session management platforms.
  • Design, build, and evolve critical infrastructure using C++ and native Swift on iOS.
  • Develop secure, reliable, and performant delegated authorization flows (token issuance, refresh, revocation, session lifecycle).
  • Partner with engineers to integrate with core authorization services like Keymaster for OAuth.
  • Improve secure on-device storage and management of credentials and access tokens.
  • Contribute to the evolution of authorization frameworks, including OAuth 2.0.
  • Drive technical improvements, share knowledge, and shape the technical direction.

Krav

  • Strong proficiency in C++.
  • Experience building native iOS applications in Swift, or eagerness to develop Swift expertise.
  • Experience designing, building, or maintaining security-sensitive systems (authorization, authentication, token management, credential storage).
  • Systems-thinking mindset and ability to solve complex engineering challenges.
  • Solid understanding of software architecture, secure system design, and modern authorization protocols (e.g., OAuth 2.0).
  • Thoughtful problem-solving approach with strong attention to detail.
  • Clear communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with shared cross-platform codebases and native platform interactions with C++ libraries.
  • Experience working on large-scale distributed systems.
