Swedbank is seeking a Senior Capital Specialist to join their new Capital Steering team in Group Treasury. This hybrid role in the Stockholm Region will involve shaping the bank's capital allocation process, influencing strategic decisions, and integrating AI into daily operations. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in finance, capital management, or risk within a large financial institution and holds a Master's degree.

Ansvarsområden

  • Shape how the bank allocates capital across business areas, portfolios and deals, building the process from the ground up.
  • Influence open strategic questions regarding capital anchoring, hurdle rates, and the impact of capital regulation.
  • Set analytical methods for the team, including profitability measurement and capital regulation impact.
  • Help form and shape the operating model of a growing team.
  • Serve as a trusted sounding board and help colleagues grow.
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders across the bank.
  • Build AI integration into the capital team's daily work.

Krav

  • Extensive experience from Treasury, Capital Management, Finance or Risk within a large financial institution.
  • Strong understanding of capital allocation, capital regulation and the interaction between capital, profitability and business strategy.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex financial and regulatory topics and translate them into actionable recommendations.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools to enhance analysis, decision-making and productivity.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior leaders and finance stakeholders.
  • Experience building frameworks, processes and ways of working in evolving or newly established environments.
  • Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics or a related quantitative field.
