QT Technologies Ireland Limited is seeking a Senior C++ Software Engineer in Cork, Ireland to develop and maintain C++ software and automation for chip validation and emulation flows. This role requires a strong foundation in C++ programming and the ability to debug software issues methodically.

Ansvarsområden

  • Develop and maintain C++ software and automation used in chip validation and emulation flows.
  • Debug software/tool issues with support from senior engineers and domain experts.
  • Contribute enhancements to existing CAD/EDA tools, methodologies and automation flows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to learn design, validation and emulation workflows.

Krav

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.
  • 0–2+ years of relevant software development experience, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
  • Strong foundation in C++ programming.
  • Understanding of data structures and basic algorithms.
  • Ability to debug software issues methodically.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Master's or PhD. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Applied Mathematics
  • Exposure to VLSI design concepts, logic design
  • Preferred programming experience with Python
  • Exposure to modern C++, such as C++11, C++17, or C++20.
  • Python scripting experience.
  • Exposure to CAD/EDA tools, VLSI concepts, logic design, or chip validation workflows.
  • Background in mathematics, algorithms, or performance-oriented software.
