Qualcomm China is hiring a Senior Audio SW Engineer in Shanghai to develop advanced audio software for Snapdragon processors, supporting use cases like ASR and TTS. The role involves high-level requirements analysis, detailed engineering specifications, and implementation of frameworks, drivers, and DSP modules for embedded voice/audio systems, focusing on performance, latency, power, robustness, and stability.

Ansvarsområden

  • Perform high-level requirements analysis.
  • Derive detailed engineering specifications.
  • Design and implement frameworks, drivers and DSP modules for advanced embedded Voice/Audio software.
  • Support use cases such as Voice Wakeup, Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), Translation, and Text-to-Speech (TTS) on Qualcomm Snapdragon processors.
  • Meet stringent performance, latency, power, robustness, and stability requirements.

Krav

  • 3+ years of Embedded Software development with relevant industry experience.
  • Proficient in C/C++ programming with proven experience writing highly efficient code for embedded systems and multi-threaded environments.
  • Solid understanding of computer architecture (ARM processors or similar), real-time operating systems (RTOS), concurrency/multi-threading, and fundamental data structures & algorithms.
  • Proven ability to design, debug and document complex software systems.
  • Strong communication skills and experience working in a collaborative environment.
  • Hands-on experience with speech/audio processing frameworks and pipeline implementation with Android or Embedded Linux, RTOS.
  • Experience in Audio/Voice pre- and post-processing algorithms (e.g., ECNS, ANC, speech recognition, natural language recognition, multi-mic, multi-speaker algorithms).
  • Previous experience working with Qualcomm Snapdragon audio DSP frameworks or similar SoC audio architecture.
  • Experience in diagnosing complex issues across HLOS, DSP, firmware, kernel, and hardware layers.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  • OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
