HCLTech is seeking a Senior Administrator with expertise in Microsoft PowerBI, Windows PowerShell, and Python. The role involves executing Windows patching, vulnerability remediation, security hardening, and operational troubleshooting in Noida, India, requiring strong automation and communication skills.

Ansvarsområden

Perform patch readiness checks, deployment, reboot coordination, validation, evidence capture, and closure tracking.
Troubleshoot Windows OS, services, event logs, patch failures, and common AD, DNS, network, DFS, SMB, and IIS issues.
Create and maintain PowerShell scripts for inventory, patch validation, health checks, and reporting.
Follow change records, implementation plans, backout plans, and operational runbooks.
Support VMware guests and physical servers, including coordination for IBM, Dell, and Cisco UCS firmware activities.
Update dashboards and communicate blockers, risks, outcomes, and next actions promptly.
Escalate complex issues with complete diagnostics and support root-cause analysis.

Krav

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
Microsoft or ITIL certification.
Experience in enterprise 24x7 infrastructure operations.
Windows Server administration, patching, and troubleshooting.
PowerShell scripting and task automation.
Active Directory, DNS, networking, DFS, SMB, and IIS fundamentals.
VMware and virtualization fundamentals.
IBM, Dell, and Cisco UCS hardware and firmware awareness.
Security hardening and vulnerability remediation processes.
Rapid7, Kenna, or Qualys exposure.
ServiceNow/change-management experience.
Clear customer and stakeholder updates with strong written and spoken English.
Disciplined documentation, handover, and escalation skills.
Ability to work across global teams and maintenance windows.
Ownership, teamwork, and attention to detail.
