The Segment Supplier Quality Senior Engineer will be responsible for identifying supplier risks, defining and implementing supplier process audits, tracking APQP progress, validating PPAP submissions, and managing supplier problem-solving processes. This role also involves owning the 8D and NCM processes from D4 closure and contributing to supplier development and qualification audits.

Ansvarsområden

  • Participate in TFC and Contract Review meetings to identify potential supplier risks.
  • Define CLD according to ASM and implement necessary audits to supplier processes during different phases (e.g., PPAP trial run, run at rate).
  • Track and check supplier APQP progress and ensure compliance with Autoliv requirements on component quality and timing.
  • Define the level of PPAP submission and content details, perform PPAP validation, and ensure correct approval.
  • Perform run at rate and early containment of supplier production as per ASM.
  • Responsible for supplier problem-solving processes before PPAP moves to the plant.
  • Manage the development process of supplier projects for the owned segment.
  • Owner of the 8D and NCM process from D4 to closure, including NCM issues from all Divisions.
  • Involved in the TFC and CTS process with Purchasing, Engineering, and Suppliers.
  • Define the SQP tasks based on the CLD and PPAP level required.
  • Follow up on the completion of SQP tasks regarding timing and quality.
  • Lead supplier production trial runs and participate in Run at Rate per CLD.
  • Perform audits and PFMEA go and see as applicable for new projects.
  • Define Incoming Inspection / DAR templates and manage IIP (AS412) at the supplier.
  • Owner of the PPAP approval.
  • Escalate SQP delays / deviations according to AS404.
  • Perform Yokoten within his/her division and initiate global actions with other Segment SQ when applicable.
  • Contribute to ALV electronic supplier management procedures, Specific Master PFMEA, and S-MPS creation and governance when assigned.
  • Execute supplier audits per AS002 and AS069.
  • Support other divisions in terms of supplier onsite activities when requested.
  • Manage AS051 supplier rating and appropriate escalation.
  • Participate in the qualification audit of new suppliers.
  • Conduct on-site process audits (e.g., VDA 6.3, IATF 16949 related requirements) for potential suppliers.
  • Drive supplier development.

Krav

  • Experience in supplier quality engineering within the automotive industry.
  • Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, 8D, NCM, PFMEA methodologies.
  • Familiarity with quality standards such as IATF 16949 and audit processes like VDA 6.3.
  • Ability to define and implement supplier process audits.
  • Experience in conducting supplier development and qualification activities.
  • Strong understanding of contract review and TFC processes.
  • Experience managing supplier projects and problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and escalation skills.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience in supplier problem solving before PPAP.
  • Experience with Yokoten and initiating global actions.
  • Familiarity with Autoliv specific procedures like AS412, AS007, AS404, AS100, AS002, AS069, AS051.
