As a Segment Supplier Quality Engineer at Autoliv Aguascalientes, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality parts by developing robust processes with external suppliers. This role involves managing the supplier lifecycle from pre-qualification through component launch, including verification of industry standards, review of production lines, and resolution of non-conforming materials.
Ansvarsområden
- Work with external suppliers to develop robust processes and deliver high quality parts.
- Manage the supplier lifecycle from pre-qualification through successful component launch.
- Verify suppliers' use of industry standards and Autoliv Standards.
- Review suppliers' agreed-to production lines and practices.
- Follow up on non-conforming materials and events to closure.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Project Launch, Purchasing, Engineering, Quality) to plan quality events and resolve issues.
- Manage PPAP/PSW approvals for external suppliers.
Krav
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
- English speaking/writing is required.
- Automotive industry and/or engineering experience.
- Problem solving experience.
- Lean and Six sigma expertise.
