CyberCX, part of Accenture, is seeking a Security Engineer – Network Security for their Managed Security Engineering team in Perth. This hands-on role involves supporting secure customer network environments, troubleshooting live issues across technologies like Fortinet and Palo Alto, and contributing to service improvement.

Ansvarsområden

Support and maintain customer network security environments across Fortinet and Palo Alto platforms.
Investigate and resolve firewall, VPN, routing, switching, and connectivity issues.
Troubleshoot problems across firewall policies, NAT, IPsec and remote access VPNs, routing, switching, DNS, and general network connectivity.
Perform scheduled configuration changes, upgrades, and maintenance across production environments.
Support FortiGate and Palo Alto firewalls and associated management platforms (FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, Panorama).
Respond to operational incidents, including P1/P2 issues.
Complete regular environment health checks and identify potential issues.
Support firewall policy reviews, optimisation, and security improvements.
Work with customers, internal teams, and vendors to resolve technical issues.
Maintain accurate technical documentation and operational records.
Follow structured incident, request, problem, and change management processes.
Contribute to service improvement and automation opportunities.
Participate in an after-hours on-call roster.

Krav

Hands-on experience with Fortinet / FortiGate and/or Palo Alto Networks.
Good understanding of routing and switching, NAT, VPN / IPsec, firewall policy, network traffic flow, and DNS.
Experience troubleshooting network and security issues in live production environments.
Ability to work through problems methodically and identify the root cause.
Experience performing firewall changes, upgrades, and maintenance.
Exposure to centrally managed firewall environments (FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, or Panorama).
Experience supporting incidents and service requests in an operational environment.
Strong customer and stakeholder communication skills.
Ability to work independently while knowing when to escalate or engage other technical teams.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Experience working in managed services, MSP, or multi-customer environments would be highly regarded.
Experience with BGP and OSPF.
Experience with SD-WAN.
Experience with high availability and firewall failover.
Experience with packet capture and traffic analysis.
Experience with F5 or other load-balancing technologies.
Experience with cloud networking across Azure or AWS.
Experience with network automation or scripting.
Experience with Cisco networking and security technologies.
