Amazon is seeking an SDE II to join their Last Mile team in Gurugram, Haryana. This role involves developing and owning software components, providing technical leadership, and building high-quality, architecturally sound systems for delivery stations. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of professional software development experience and 2+ years in system design and architecture.

Ansvarsområden

  • Develop a deep understanding of our business and work closely with development teams.
  • Own the architecture and end-to-end delivery of software components.
  • Provide technical leadership and establish technical standards.
  • Drive Amazon’s overall technical architecture, engineering practices, and methodologies.
  • Work on hard problems, building high quality, architecturally sound systems aligned with business needs.
  • Think globally when building systems, ensuring high performing, scalable systems.
  • Be a pragmatic visionary who can translate business needs into workable technology solutions.
  • Produce both detailed technical work and high-level architectural designs.
  • Develop scalable tools and technology for delivery hubs to increase associate productivity, site throughput, operational quality, and scalability.
  • Build tools and processes that reduce cognitive load, eliminate decision points, prioritize work, and correct operational defects.

Krav

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
