Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer II (SDE II) for its Amazon Now team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, to build the future of Quick Commerce Seller Experience. This role involves developing scalable seller-facing applications and backend services using ReactJS and other modern technologies. The position requires a minimum of 2 years of professional software development experience and design/architecture experience.

Ansvarsområden

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable seller-facing applications and backend services for the Amazon Now Seller Experience platform.
  • Develop robust backend services and APIs that power seller onboarding, accounting, S3P upsell, and selection intelligence features.
  • Collaborate with Senior SDEs, Principal Engineers, TPMs, and Product Managers to define technical solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following Amazon's engineering best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical planning sessions.
  • Own the full software development lifecycle from design through deployment and operations.
  • Drive continuous improvement in system performance, reliability, and seller experience.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to raising the engineering bar across the team.
  • Work in a fast-paced, agile environment with rapid iteration cycles.

Krav

  • 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • 2+ years of building complex software systems experience.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
