As a Sales Responsible at IKEA in Thousand Oaks, California, you will optimize the shopping experience and maximize retail sales by providing expert guidance on interior design, home furnishings, and specialized solutions like kitchens and baths. This full-time, on-site role requires creating customer relationships, ensuring order accuracy, and overseeing daily operations while promoting a customer-centric environment.

Ansvarsområden

  • Provide guidance on interior design, layout, color, style, and accessories for residential and business customers.
  • Sell specialized home furnishing solutions, including kitchens, baths, and storage systems.
  • Build customer relationships to identify needs and provide support throughout the sales process.
  • Apply measurement techniques and understand planning, design, and construction to ensure order accuracy.
  • Drive repeat customer visits by ensuring the sales team is customer-centric and focused on a great shopping experience.
  • Oversee day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing duties, when assigned.
  • Ensure a safe and secure work environment, handling escalated customer issues, injuries, and emergency protocols.
  • Partner with Safety & Security to ensure adherence to policies regarding inventory integrity, safety, cash handling, and internal controls.
  • Ensure implementation of working routines and competence development related to Commercial Review and Compliance (ASR).
  • Perform goods flow and customer handout operations efficiently using available systems and tools.

Krav

  • Previous retail selling experience.
  • Experience in a consultative sales environment.
  • Experience leading change initiatives and building new programs in a retail environment.
  • Open availability between 11:00 am and 7:15 pm.
  • Ability to work 20-34 hours per week.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience in designing kitchen and bath is preferred.

Förmåner

  • Hourly pay eligible for benefits.
  • Pay range: $25.06 to $31.00.
