How to Make an Impact

You will join our Sales Development team in Aarhus, Denmark, focusing on the Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) region. In this role, you will be a key driver in the Strategic Business Unit for Specialised Nutrition, helping to drive growth within infant and medical nutrition by developing new business opportunities and supporting regional sales execution. Working closely with regional sales teams and a broad range of internal specialists, you will act as a connector between markets, customers and our innovation pipeline. The role is deliberately shaped to allow flexibility depending on your background and experience, with scope to grow responsibilities over time.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Driving sales development initiatives across EMEA within infant and medical nutrition.
• Work closely with EMEA regional sales teams to align initiatives and activate regional growth strategies.
• Build strong commercial partnerships with current and potential customers in key EMEA markets.
• Identify and prioritize business opportunities through in-depth market, customer, and competitive analysis.
• Translate customer needs and market insights into innovative value propositions, in collaboration with internal experts in application science, nutrition science, regulatory, IP, and legal.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure market readiness and accelerate sales execution.

What Will Make You Successful?

We are looking for a candidate who combines commercial curiosity with a structured, self‑driven way of working and who thrives in a global, matrix organization. Importantly, we are open to candidates with different levels of experience. You may be earlier in your career and ready to step into a broader commercial role, or already have a few years of experience (3-4 years) and be looking to further develop your impact at regional level.

You likely possess the following

• A Master’s degree in human nutrition, food science, biomedicine, molecular biology, or a related technical field – or a commercial degree combined with interest or experience within nutrition and health.
• Experience in B2B sales, marketing, or business development within the infant nutrition, medical nutrition, or food/pharma industry.
• The ability to work independently, drive projects and engage a broad set of stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to collaborate across cultures and functions.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills – fluency in English is required, and additional EMEA languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel across EMEA (30-40 days per year, typically planned in advance) and work primarily from our Aarhus HQ.
