We are seeking a Sales Co-worker for our Bath & Dining department in Richmond, BC. You will actively engage customers, identify their needs, and provide solutions while maintaining store standards and promoting IKEA products and values. This role requires excellent customer service skills and a passion for home furnishing.

Ansvarsområden

  • Actively approach customers needing assistance and identify their needs.
  • Advise customers on the best solutions for their homes to exceed expectations.
  • Utilize different IKEA sales and communication channels effectively.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, priced, and fully stocked sales area.
  • Ensure IKEA basic merchandising standards are met for a positive shopping experience.
  • Convey passion for IKEA products and share knowledge with customers and colleagues.
  • Understand store and department action plans and contribute to department goals.
  • Maximize sales while maintaining profitability by steering towards top-selling products.
  • Lead and/or support planned commercial activities.
  • Offer available IKEA store services to help customers make informed choices.

Krav

  • Amazing attention to detail.
  • Ability to juggle multiple competing priorities.
  • Top-notch customer service skills; assess customer needs quickly and sell solutions.
  • Strong people skills; ability to strike up conversations easily.
  • Passion for IKEA products, design, and Sustainability commitment.
  • Approximately 6 months of work experience in a high-volume sales or customer service environment.
  • Enjoy working in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working on ladders and with heights.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize own work for efficient time use.
