This Position reports to:

R&D Department Lead

Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to participate in the complete lifecycle of a project. Each day, you will study, analyze, write, edit, and proofread technical data and produce complete product documentation such as user manuals, release notes, product guides, online help files, and specifications. You will also showcase your expertise by facilitating technical understanding of ABB products.

The work model for the role is: #LI  Hybrid 

This role is contributing to the Process Automation Business of Process Platform Control Division(PCP) in Bangalore.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Product documentation  responsibilities for S+ Control team for both US & India location
• S+ system documentation responsibilities as a release owner in coordinating the documentation activity as per release timeline
• Coordination with different product documentation team across globally
• Suggesting Quality improvement ideas related to product documentation.

Qualification for the role :

• More than 5 years of experience in product documentation development environment.
• Strong competence in technical English.
• Strong knowledge in DITA concepts and information structuring techniques for user-centered content creation.
• Solid experience in Framemaker, Skribenta or similar Component Content Management Systems (CCMS).
• Strong technical skills and applied knowledge in MS office applications.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Strong Analytical Skills and Attention to Detail / Detail-Oriented.
• Self-Starter/Self-Learning.
• Ability to identify problems and address them to resolution.
• Strong team player and collaborator.
