Ansvarsområden
- Build Rotary Head gearboxes using specialized tools and equipment, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications.
- Utilize controlled heating and pressing techniques to install gears, bearings, and shafts, ensuring proper fit and alignment.
- Apply knowledge of slip fit and press fit tolerances during assembly to achieve precise mechanical performance.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate assembly and troubleshooting.
- Perform rigorous inspections and measurements to maintain tight tolerances and verify component integrity throughout the assembly process.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues during assembly and testing phases with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to identify process improvements and implement best practices for efficiency and accuracy.
- Properly maintain and calibrate tools and equipment to ensure consistent performance.
- Adhere to all safety standards, company policies, and industry regulations.
Krav
- Ability to work in the U.S. on an indefinite basis without sponsorship.
- Proven experience in precision assembly of gearboxes, transmissions, or similar mechanical systems.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical principles, tolerances, and quality assurance practices.
- Strong background in heating/freezing components to be press-fit together.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- At least 3+ year experience in a manufacturing environment.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Positive attitude, strong attendance, and willingness and ability to work overtime.
