The RME Coordinator is responsible for leading the Reliability Maintenance Engineering function during operational shifts, providing on-floor support and overseeing third-party service providers. This role requires expertise in MHE Automation & Control, including PLCs, SCADA, and conveyor systems, with a focus on problem-solving and system optimization.

Ansvarsområden

  • Lead the Reliability Maintenance Engineering function during operational shifts.
  • Provide on-floor operational support and oversee third-party service providers for maintenance and facilities services.
  • Manage MHE Automation & Control, including high-tech intelligent sorters, conveyors, and other Material Handling Equipment.
  • Handle control hardware and software such as PLC, HMI, SCADA, VFDs.
  • Problem-solve PLC code, fieldbus IO, and SCADA systems.
  • Understand Warehouse Control Systems and Telegrams.
  • Understand integrated MHE conveyor systems and their interactions.
  • Analyze metrics and data to identify system and machine optimization opportunities.
  • Take the lead in resolving controls-related issues and improvements within a shift team.
  • Work within a shift team.
  • Understand flow of processes.
  • Understand Industrial communication protocols like ProfiBus, ProfiNet, Ethernet IP.
  • Experience of Barcode recognition technology.
  • Read and Update Electrical and Controls Schematics and Documentation, SOP’s and VSOP’s.
  • Experience of Change Management processes.
  • Experience of commissioning special purpose machinery.
  • Ensure working knowledge of Machine Safety Regulations and Safe Working Practices.
  • Basic understanding of IT systems like IP Networking, Server Architecture, SQL Databases.
  • Experience working within Controls or Electrical Projects as part of a team.

Krav

  • 1+ years of conveyors/automation/control systems maintenance experience.
  • Min Qualification – Diploma, B.E. or B.Tech. or equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • 1 to 3 years of working experience with Manufacturing or Service or Machine developers or warehouse industries.
  • Ability to problem solve PLC code and complex fieldbus IO and SCADA systems.
  • Understanding of Warehouse Control Systems and Telegrams.
  • Experience either building, commissioning or problem-solving Electrical Controls and Instrumentation Panels.
  • Ability to understand integrated MHE conveyor systems within the FC and the systems that interact outside of the FC.
  • Ability to understand flow of processes.
  • Understanding of Industrial communication protocols like ProfiBus, ProfiNet, Ethernet IP, and demonstrable ability to problem solve those systems.
  • Experience of Barcode recognition technology.
  • Experience Reading and Updating Electrical and Controls Schematics and Documentation, SOP’s and VSOP’s.
  • Ability to analyse metrics and data and identify system and machine optimization opportunities.
