Amazon Surface Transportation is seeking a Risk Manager I for their Linehaul operations in Hyderabad, India. Ansvarsområden

  • Apply risk-management best practices/methodologies to mitigate risk issues and improve processes.
  • Develop appropriate milestones and launch project schedules for timely delivery.
  • Identify gaps in controls and processes and consult legal for guidance on escalations.
  • Understand business needs and workflows related to financial risk, controls, and escalation paths.
  • Execute against established SOPs and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Perform deep dive analysis and draft COE based on identified deviations.
  • Own weekly/monthly metrics and process reviews with stakeholders.
  • Maintain subject matter expertise in job functions and general industry awareness.
  • Mentor peers and new hires, potentially developing and delivering risk management training.
  • Provide recommendations to management for improvements to technical risk management solutions.

Krav

  • 2+ years of program or project management experience
  • 1+ years of supply chain experience
  • 2+ Years experience with project/program management working with cross-functional teams
  • 2+ years experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience in Supply chain Management
  • Experience preparing reports identifying findings and providing recommended remediation strategies and solutions

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology
  • Experience in MS Access and SQL
  • Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement documents
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQL
  • Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
