Amazon Surface Transportation's Risk and Compliance Monitoring team is seeking a Risk Manager I for Linehaul operations in Hyderabad. This role involves leading risk assessments, developing mitigation initiatives, and conducting investigations to prevent illicit use of Amazon services, operating on a rotational shift model for 24/7 coverage. Responsibilities include applying risk management best practices, identifying control gaps, performing deep dive analysis, and recommending process improvements.

Ansvarsområden

  • Apply risk-management best practices/methodologies to mitigate risk issues and improve processes.
  • Develop milestones and project schedules for timely delivery of projects and standard work.
  • Identify gaps in controls and processes, consulting legal for guidance on specific use cases or escalations.
  • Ensure program alignment with risk strategy, regulations, policies, and team objectives.
  • Understand business needs and workflows, including financial risk, controls, escalation paths, data sources, and metrics.
  • Execute against established SOPs and identify/recommend opportunities for process improvement.
  • Perform deep dive analysis and draft COE based on identified deviations, recommending solutions.
  • Own weekly/monthly metrics and process reviews with stakeholders.
  • Maintain subject matter expertise and general industry awareness.
  • Build trust by understanding operational processes related to risk management programs.
  • Mentor peers and new hires, and potentially assist in risk management training.
  • Provide recommendations to management for improving technical risk management solutions.

Krav

  • 2+ years of program or project management experience.
  • 1+ years of supply chain experience.
  • 2+ Years experience with project/program management working with cross-functional teams.
  • 2+ years experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
  • Experience in Supply chain Management.
  • Experience preparing reports identifying findings and providing recommended remediation strategies and solutions.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology.
  • Experience in MS Access and SQL.
  • Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement documents.
  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL.
  • Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules.
