IKEA Cheras is seeking a Risk, Control & Compliance Manager to safeguard the organization's people, assets, and reputation. This role involves developing and implementing risk management frameworks, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and enhancing safety and security programs. The position requires a leader with extensive experience in risk, compliance, and safety, ideally within a retail setting, to foster a culture of governance and operational excellence.

Ansvarsområden

  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Identify operational risks, process gaps, safety hazards, and compliance issues, recommending preventive and corrective actions.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans for operational, financial, and reputational risks.
  • Develop, implement, review, and maintain risk management frameworks, policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Monitor compliance performance and prepare regular reports for management.
  • Lead investigations and root cause analysis for incidents and compliance breaches.
  • Ensure safety and security programs comply with legal and company standards.
  • Support the development and implementation of emergency response, crowd management, and business continuity plans.
  • Participate in store, facility, or project design to ensure safety and security compliance.
  • Coordinate emergency response activities and collaborate with management during incidents.
  • Maintain relationships with regulatory authorities, emergency services, and external security providers.
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audits and inspections.
  • Ensure positive audit outcomes and timely closure of findings.
  • Maintain compliance documentation, records, reports, and evidence.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on risk management, compliance, ethics, safety, and security.
  • Promote a strong risk-aware and compliance culture.
  • Educate employees and external service providers on compliance requirements.
  • Act as a point of contact for suspected fraud, misconduct, or non-compliance.
  • Conduct or support investigations in accordance with policies and legislation.
  • Identify areas vulnerable to fraud, shrinkage, or operational losses and implement controls.
  • Coordinate insurance claims processes.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Keep management informed of regulatory updates and emerging risks.
  • Support sustainability, ethical business practices, and corporate governance initiatives.

Krav

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • Over 10 years of experience in Risk, Compliance, Safety, Security, or related functions.
  • At least 3 years in a leadership role, ideally within a retail or customer-focused environment.
  • Strong track record in risk management, governance, compliance, and internal controls.
  • Experience in conducting investigations involving fraud, misconduct, and ethical concerns.
  • Hands-on experience in safety and security management, emergency preparedness, crisis management, business continuity, and fire safety systems.
  • Ability to translate data into insights, identify risks and trends, and implement preventive actions.
  • Ability to build trusted partnerships and influence stakeholders through clear communication and collaboration.
  • Understanding of how risk, compliance, and safety contribute to business performance.
  • Comfort working with legal, regulatory, and technical requirements while balancing business needs and coworker wellbeing.
