HID is seeking a Revenue Accountant in Salt Lake City, Utah, to support finance and accounting departments with customer invoicing, accounts receivable, deferred revenue, and cash activities. The role involves preparing accurate invoices, maintaining schedules, supporting collections, and contributing to monthly/quarterly reporting according to IFRS and US GAAP.

Ansvarsområden

Prepare accurate customer invoices in accordance with contract terms and billing schedules.
Maintain accounts receivable aging, monitor outstanding balances, and perform timely collection follow-up.
Track deferred revenue and maintain related schedules and reconciliations.
Record cash transactions, code checks, and reconcile cash accounts.
Support timely and accurate monthly and quarterly financial reporting in accordance with IFRS and US GAAP.
Manage the accounts receivable and general accounting shared inboxes and respond to customer inquiries.
Manage orders and revenue reporting against targets, including monthly recurring revenue and annual recurring revenue.
Prepare month-end variance analyses, journals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Reconcile credit card transactions and import transaction data into the ERP system.
Manage the Avalara relationship, review sales tax returns, and coordinate corrections.
Support external year-end reviews, local statutory audits, finance policies, and compliance activities.
Implement and improve finance processes and systems, driving continuous improvement.

Krav

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of four years of experience in an accounting- or finance-related role.
Ability to manage multiple priorities accurately and professionally with strong follow-up, tracking, and attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal, customer service, written, and verbal communication skills, including effective communication in English.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience with web applications using supported browsers and Adobe PDF applications.
Candidates must be U.S. citizens and legally authorized to work in the United States.
Employment is contingent upon successfully completing a comprehensive background check.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Experience in an accounting, finance, or customer support role.
Proactive self-starter who takes ownership, identifies priorities, and follows through with minimal supervision.
Experience with revenue accounting, including deferred revenue and revenue recognition is preferred.
Experience using artificial intelligence tools is preferred; willingness to learn and adopt AI-enabled tools is expected.
