IKEA is hiring a full-time Retail Store Associate in Madison, WI to provide excellent customer service, maintain store appearance, and process sales. This role involves customer engagement, inventory management, and sales transactions, contributing to a positive shopping experience. Ansvarsområden

  • Actively approach customers requiring additional help, identify their needs and advise them on the best solutions for their homes.
  • Keep area of responsibility clean, tidy, priced and fully stocked, ensuring IKEA basic merchandising standards are in place.
  • Convey passion about IKEA products and actively learn about their features and benefits, sharing this knowledge with customers.
  • Build furniture as needed for In Shape As New, introduction of new products, commercial calendar implementation and remodels.
  • Prepare, produce, and maintain IKEA Food menu items; serve all IKEA Food menu items; follow procedures and guidelines for safe food handling, cleanliness and sanitation, and workplace safety.
  • Receive inbound goods and ensure inventory accuracy at the point of receiving.
  • Flow product to final selling location.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide customers with a simple and efficient Full Serve Hand Out experience.
  • Provide the customer with a simple and smooth returns and exchange experience.

Krav

  • 1 year of retail experience, preferably in the home furnishing sector.
  • Experience in actively selling through understanding customers and their needs.
