Ansvarsområden
- Conduct research in AI and agentic systems, focusing on areas like graph-based methods, agent memory, and loop engineering.
- Collaborate with fellow doctoral candidates and researchers.
- Learn, collaborate, and network within a research environment.
- Present findings at the conclusion of the 12-week internship.
- Contribute to a peer-reviewed scientific publication.
Krav
- Currently enrolled in a Doctorate Degree program in Computer Science or a related STEM field.
- Physically located in the manager’s Microsoft worksite location for the duration of the internship.
- Submission of a minimum of two reference letters, a cover letter, and relevant work or research samples.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- 1+ year(s) of research experience in natural language processing, information retrieval, machine learning, graph machine learning, or systems for AI, demonstrated through publications or preprints.
- Experience building or evaluating LLM-based agents, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), knowledge graphs, or memory systems for agents.
- Experience designing benchmarks, evaluation protocols, or controlled experiments, including statistical analysis of results.
- 1+ year(s) experience in Python and domain-relevant libraries and frameworks (e.g., PyTorch).
- Familiarity with running experiments on GPU clusters or cloud infrastructure.
- 1+ year(s) experience in Calculus, Probability and Statistics and/or Machine Learning.
