Microsoft Research Internships offer doctoral candidates in Computer Science and STEM fields a dynamic environment to work alongside world-class researchers. Interns contribute to projects in areas like theorem provers, machine learning systems, and software engineering, gaining valuable research experience.

Collaborate with fellow doctoral candidates and researchers on innovative projects.

Present findings and contribute to the vibrant research community.
Work with mentors and other Research Interns during the 12-week internship.

Krav

Currently enrolled in a Doctorate Degree program in Computer Science, STEM, or a relevant field.
Physically located in the manager’s Microsoft worksite location for the duration of the internship.
Submit a minimum of two reference letters.
Submit a cover letter.
Submit any relevant work or research samples.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Experience defining research questions and methods for research projects.
Experience collaborating with researchers and/or product development teams.
Experience collaborating across organizational groups and/or cultural contexts.
Experience comparing alternative methods, prototypes, or analytical approaches.
Prior research experience evidenced by publications or research projects.
Experience designing or conducting experiments and analyzing results.
Experience communicating research findings through presentations, posters, reports, or publications.
