We are seeking a Reliability & Maintenance Engineer to execute maintenance schedules for refrigeration systems, monitor temperature parameters, and troubleshoot electrical and control systems. This role involves performing root cause analysis, maintaining power systems (DG, UPS), and ensuring compliance with safety standards, reporting on equipment performance and maintenance activities.

Ansvarsområden

  • Execute planned preventive maintenance (PPM) for refrigeration systems (tropical, chilled, frozen rooms).
  • Monitor and maintain optimal temperature parameters across cold chain zones.
  • Conduct routine inspections of compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion valves, and refrigerant piping.
  • Ensure refrigerant levels and perform leak detection tests.
  • Monitor defrost cycles, drain lines, and insulation integrity of cold rooms.
  • Coordinate with OEMs and third-party service providers for specialized repairs and AMC.
  • Diagnose and resolve refrigeration system faults.
  • Respond to temperature excursion alarms and execute corrective actions.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and control system faults in refrigeration panels, PLCs, and BMS.
  • Perform root cause identification for equipment failures and implement permanent fixes.
  • Maintain and monitor Diesel Generator (DG) sets.
  • Execute preventive and predictive maintenance on Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems.
  • Monitor and maintain electrical panels (MDB, SDB, ATS, change-over panels).
  • Conduct insulation resistance (IR) testing, earth resistance testing, and thermography surveys.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and statutory requirements.
  • Monitor real-time equipment parameters through BMS, temperature monitoring systems, and energy meters.
  • Conduct daily walkthroughs to identify equipment abnormalities.
  • Track and maintain equipment runtime hours, energy consumption data, and performance trends.
  • Ensure monitoring sensors and alarm systems are calibrated and functional.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on equipment status, maintenance, performance, and breakdowns.
  • Conduct structured Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using methodologies like Five-Why Analysis and Fishbone Diagrams.
  • Develop and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
  • Maintain a CAPA tracker with closure status and effectiveness verification.
  • Present RCA and CAPA findings during Weekly and Monthly Business Reviews.

Krav

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
  • Minimum three to five years of hands-on experience in refrigeration systems and base building equipment maintenance.
  • Proficiency in refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, DG operations, UPS systems, and BMS platforms.
  • Ability to perform structured RCA, develop CAPA plans, and apply data-driven decision-making.
  • Proficiency in preparing technical reports, dashboards, and MIS outputs using MS Excel and relevant tools.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills for effective cross-functional coordination.
  • Experience in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Instrumentation and Controls.
  • Experience in handling Cooling systems/Chiller/Cold storage for a minimum of 2 years.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Preferred certifications in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Electrical Safety, or equivalent recognized standards.
  • 1+ years of conveyors/automation/control systems maintenance experience.
