As a Regional Home Furnishing & Interior Design Leader for IKEA, you will spearhead the adaptation of global home furnishing solutions to the local market, aiming to enhance customer experience and drive sales. This role involves mentoring interior design teams, collaborating across departments, and ensuring the brand's distinct identity is upheld in stores.

Ansvarsområden

  • Lead local and regional adaptation of global home furnishing solutions.
  • Enhance customer experience through tailored home furnishing solutions.
  • Collaborate across departments to maintain brand identity in range presentation and store individuality.
  • Support the implementation of the country business plan with interior design initiatives.
  • Develop and adapt interior design solutions for market and unit needs.
  • Create regional guidelines and lead the development of tailored home furnishing solutions.
  • Analyze insights to improve visitor experience and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team on omnichannel campaigns.
  • Support stores in maintaining the unique IKEA Brand identity in range presentation.
  • Act as an expert and mentor in store projects based on regional directions.
  • Be involved in decisions about home furnishing direction in store layouts and media.
  • Coach, support, and mentor Interior Designers.
  • Share knowledge and tailor global documents for local training needs.
  • Encourage improvement in understanding people's life at home and translating it into solutions.
  • Influence, inspire, and challenge interior design co-workers.
  • Prioritize workload effectively in a challenging environment.
  • Support Store development/Expansion Interior designers and Assistant Com & In manager in regional projects.
  • Involvement in Commercial planning, build-up, and opening phases.
  • Support with improving current ways of working and business practices.

Krav

  • Strong understanding of customer buying behavior and decision-making processes.
  • Knowledge of trends influencing home furnishing and retail design.
  • Ability to integrate the commercial calendar into communication and interior design strategies.
  • Proven leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • High School Credential in Architecture, Interior design or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with knowledge of the IKEA Concept, brand objectives, values, and vision.
  • In-depth understanding of the role and responsibilities of the Communication & Interior Design department.
  • Experience in leading and influencing co-workers.
  • Ability to take a holistic view of a global organization and identify business opportunities.
