I korthet

Responsible for completing accounting activities related to the general ledger, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation, and open item resolution. This hybrid role in Escazú, Costa Rica, requires experience in accounting processes, ERP systems, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Ansvarsområden

Prepare and post manual journal entries.
Prepare monthly and quarterly accruals.
Prepare monthly and quarterly Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
Ensure targets and expected deliverables are met according to SLA guidelines.
Carry out a knowledge transfer process.
Identify potential areas for process improvements and highlight to Supervisors and Continuous Improvement Team.
Support internal and external audit processes.
Participate in the reporting process of financial statements on a monthly basis.
Develop analysis and information as requested by the Business Units.

Krav

More than two years of experience in general accounting or Big 4 environment.
Shared Services environments experience is required.
Knowledge, insight and experience in (financial) administrative (accounting) processes.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint and Excel is required.
Oracle / SAP or other ERP experience.
Knowledge and proven experience in Continuous Improvement projects implementation across Accounting processes and application of Lean Six Sigma Methodologies and Project Management tools.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Technical High School - Associate or Technical Degree in Accounting.
University Accounting or Finance Degree.
Hyperion or other FS reporting and consolidation system is also preferred.
Demonstrated high level knowledge in Payroll Accounting and Accruals.
Certifications and/or courses in Continuous Improvement, Project Management, and Agile Methodologies, such as Yellow or Green Belt, PMP, Scrum Master or equivalent.
