I korthet

As a Record to Report Senior Specialist in Escazú, Costa Rica, you will analyze, complete, and follow up on general accounting activities, including journal entries and balance sheet reviews. You will ensure adherence to USGAAP and collaborate on process improvements using low-code tools.

Ansvarsområden

  • Analyze and prepare manual journal entries.
  • Review balance sheet accounts.
  • Perform account reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly accruals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for process improvement.
  • Leverage low-code tools to automate financial processes.
  • Support internal and external audit processes.
  • Participate in the reporting process of financial statements.
  • Develop analysis and information as requested by controllers or Business Units.
  • Ensure targets and deliverables are met according to SLA guidelines.

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Accounting, Finance and/or Business Administration.
  • Excellent communication in English (B2 or higher).
  • At least 5 years of experience in General Accounting.
  • Shared Services environments experience is required.
  • Knowledge, insight and experience in financial/accounting processes.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Oracle (preferred) / SAP or other ERP experience is required.
  • Hyperion (HFM - preferred) or other reporting system is also required.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience working for the North America region.
  • High level knowledge in Accruals, Prepaids, Balance Sheet Reconciliations and Month End Processes/routines.
  • Proven track record in stakeholder management.
  • Certifications and/or courses in Artificial Intelligence, Automation, Continuous Improvement, Project Management, and Agile Methodologies (Yellow or Green Belt, PMP, Scrum Master or equivalent).
